He’s in his office. Alone. It’s late afternoon and he’ll be heading home soon.
He sits on a sofa near his desk. It’s a bright day outside.
‘I’m learning a lot from Putin and his invasion of Ukraine. One mistake he made, was to put so much into the ground assault. He spent months amassing his troops, giving Ukraine plenty of time to prepare.
When I invade Taiwan I will stress the air attack and the surprise factor. Get my people ready with as much stealth as possible, then put in a call to their president at 3 am the day of the assault.
I’ll go right to the point.
I’m taking back Taiwan today, I’ll say. It belongs to China. I have just ordered the attack. Do you wish to surrender and save lives?
If there is no immediate surrender, I’ll hang up.
The surprise factor will be key.
I know they won’t surrender, thinking that America is going to save them.
So the assault will proceed and it will be beautiful. Plane after plane dropping bombs over the entire island. And capturing it all on video so we can replay it back at home and make it global. The replays will help intimidate neighbor countries.
It will be a glorious day for our nation. People will dance in the streets.
I estimate there may be 20,000 dead Taiwanese by the end of the day. More or less. Costly, yes, but the world needs to know that China has arrived. That we’re not afraid of America. That we will not stop until we’re number one and…
