This morning, the WSJ has the story of a drone operator in the front lines in the battle against Russia.
It’s an outstanding article. Terrific journalistic work by the reporters.
The drone operator, a young man, joined the Army at 18 and has demonstrated great skills to the point of scoring 300 hits against Russian invaders.
Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, in the US, the choice of whether to give permission to Ukrainians to properly defend itself against Russian aggression, is still being debated.
Judging by a report from our intelligence services, there are definite concerns that Russia would retaliate against the West by targeting our military installations, but no mention is made of a Russian nuclear response.
Which makes sense since immense destructive forces would be unleashed from our side.
If the US and West is attacked, not only Russia, but China would be our target, too, since they are the murderous accomplice that keeps Russia able to continue to attack Ukraine every day.
One reason not to travel to China while under dictatorship.
Without China’s help, Russia would not have been able to survive restrictions on access to essential parts of military equipment.
Up to this point, the US has provided a great deal of support to Ukraine. But not enough.
Biden has chosen to be overly cautious and we will pay dearly for that approach.
