And so is the time to deliver on all your promises. Which can be scary.
You won the election because you were the better communicator.
Democrats need to accept that. To deny it is folly.
You reached right into the heart and minds of most Americans and touched the sweet spot.
They forgave all your transgressions, which are sizeable, and chose you anyway.
Democrats, which raised twice the money you did, got beat soundly.
Biden did a good job overall during his term but didn’t connect with the people.
As an example, 2 or 3 times the networks offered him a spot during the Super Bowl so he could address the nation. He declined every time.
You, instead, trusted your instincts on what strings to pull, and the American people listening bought your message — and all the stuff you made up, which was considerable — and you got in.
But it’s already a month since then and now the challenge of governing lies ahead.
I never attended any of your rallies. Still, I am sure there is a word you never said.
I am sure that you never asked your people that in the task ahead, there was a need to sacrifice.
Neither Biden nor Harris did either. Never mind all the highly paid advisers. They just didn’t think of it.
But as the time to govern approaches, that sentiment needs to be kept in mind. Sacrifice.
There is no way that anyone, person, group or country, can expect to succeed without it.
To climb a mountain…
