Biden announced today that he’s recommending the approval of Wegovy and Zepbound, two powerful antiobesity medications so that they would be covered by Medicare and Medicaid.
Imagine all the good that would come from it. Amazing!
Rules being what they are, the approval would not be effective until you’re in office.
But stop for a moment and think of all the good you could be doing if you went along with it.
I know you’re kicking yourself for not having thought about it first.
It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? Yes, Democrats have some good ideas also.
It’s not just Republicans doing the thinking in this great nation of ours.
So here’s this great opportunity for you to make a clear impact on the legions of fans you have.
Help them lower their weight so they can live longer. WoW!
There will be some grateful people out there. And they will remember you fondly.
As for the idea that obesity is not a disease, get over it. If it can kill you, it’s a disease.

Look, you’re not slender, as you should be at your age.
