Trump, Los Angeles and Putin
If Trump had been able to be forceful with Putin in their talks to attempt to end the war in Ukraine, the likelihood is the protests in Los Angeles would not have happened.
But Trump could not do it. Could not because he is not a well integrated man.
In his mind, being rough with the undocumented is the alternative to not being tough with Putin. And, oh, so much easier.

The great majority of these folks are hard working people, committed to making a living and raising their families. In doing so they help build our country.
I know many first hand.
They cook and serve our food, keep our gardens, repair our roofs, help in construction. They are active in nearly all segments of our lives and have a huge presence in the agricultural industry.
But it does not matter to our president.
It is very sad to see that we are being led by a man who has lost his moral compass.
A day or two after his talk with Putin, where he did not stand up to him, Trump chose to withhold weapons that we had agreed to give Ukraine, saying they were needed to protect our troops in the Middle East.
I do not believe him. The timing suggests that he was appeasing Putin.
What will fewer weapons to Ukraine mean? More dead.
Did Americans protest? No.
But there are always the undocumented to kick around. So hound them, make them miserable.
