The Denial and Vanity of Biden

It is sad.
You’ve been a good president but by choosing to deny the obvious, you’re casting a shadow on all the good work you’ve done and putting us in danger.
Because of your ego.
Your ego and that of those around you who’re thinking of their own self interest as they help shield you from the truth.
Your performance in the debate with Trump was clear evidence of your diminished capacities.
The debate was the cognitive test the American people wanted.
We need to see nothing else.
It is now up to you to choose to squander and undo what good work you’ve done.
By not confronting your denial and vanity you will do that.
But it gets worse.
You put us in danger. Because though many Americans will still choose to vote for you instead of Trump — even if you were blind and deaf — many will not, sensing that if you’re that disabled then others are running the show. And who are they?
We deserve better.
You know it, too, but right now denial and vanity have you by the throat.
And no, a huddle with the family at Camp David will not do.
You need to answer to us.
You need to look at the replay of the debate again and again. You, by yourself, with no one to hold your hand or pass you the tissues.
This is the time to grieve, Biden, grieve the loss of a dream.
You wanted to do two terms but will have to do with one. You wanted to beat Trump twice but will have to do with doing so only once.
