In response to your peace efforts, Putin thinks nothing of firing missiles into Ukraine and killing civilians. People in an apartment house. People in the street. People in a bus. Men, women and children.
Wake up, Trump!
And Putin did it, even after you bowed to him — yes, bowed — with an offer to accept that Russia should keep Crimea, which they took from Ukraine in 2014 while Obama was twiddling his thumbs.
Wake up, Trump!
The Russian is not your buddy. He is a cold murderer and a menace to the world.
Witnessing those horrific attacks degrade the human condition. That means you and me, too.
But it does nothing to the Russian. He is in another state. Inhumanities don’t register with him.
His actions are filled with an unfathomable hatred of the human condition.
Power is what matters to him. And you, Mr Trump, are doing nothing about it.
Wake up, man! Rise, dammit! Be a president!
I can write these words because I live in a free nation, with freedom of speech.
There’s nothing like that in Russia, or China.
It is a beautiful right to have, and we must be willing to die to preserve it.
Russians instead, have chosen to kiss Putin’s feet. They’ll have to live with that.
There is still time for you, Trump, time to recognize your poor judgment.
You are harming democracy with your inaction. Harming the free world.
History will not be kind to you.
