He’s killing Ukrainians every day — men, women and children.
He uses weapons furnished by Iran and North Korea and others made possible by China.
And we dither about giving Ukrainians the means to defend itself.
Shame on us.
Putin is saying to Ukrainians, ‘I can shoot you, bomb you, dismember your people, but I forbid the West from using weapons to fire into my territory. I forbid you to give Ukraine the weapons to retaliate against me. I forbid the West from giving Ukraine what it needs to defend itself.
I am excused from killing Ukrainians every day I want to.
And the world does not stop me because I have the power to scare everybody with my nuclear weapons.
That’s the power I have, the power to quiet everybody.
The West goes on singing about freedom while I keep massacring a people they call their ally.
They’re saying to themselves, “Well, he’s not invading us, so why should we get involved? And it’s just too far away.”
It is truly beautiful what I’m doing. To joyfully — with the help of China and Iran and North Korea — keep bombing Ukraine until they no longer exist.’
That’s Putin, in our face, with the consent of a submissive Russian people, a people who has allowed itself to be silenced.
Is China Putin’s accomplice? Absolutely.
Do we dare say to China that they cannot help Putin keep killing Ukrainians? No, we don’t.
