Earlier today, Liz Cheney restated on the platform X, what she’s been saying all along.
The Republican party will nominate a man who attempted to overthrow an election.
That such conduct is dismissed by Trump and his supporters is a clear sign of political decadence in our country.
Even the Supreme Court, to which the matter of Trump’s immunity to act as he did will soon go, seems likely to give the former president a pass.
That opinion will then be yet another sign of political decadence.
Our nation should be grieving that such an unqualified candidate is certain to get his party’s nomination.
Where are the big names in their party?
Where is John Kasich? Where are George and Jeb Bush?
Yesterday, Mitch McConnell, the minority leader in the Senate, came out endorsing Trump.
The man is loyal to the tribe, no matter what.
Marco Rubio, where are you?
Nikki Haley exited the race and didn’t endorse Trump, but neither did she show the gumption that Liz Cheney has shown.
And so it will then be up to Joe Biden, if he stays healthy, to put Trump in his place.
And he will.
Biden is a seasoned debater and is very clear that Trump’s isolationism and hate mongering are the opposite of what the nation needs.
In Russia, Putin is salivating in anticipation of a Trump victory. He is delighted to see that there are so many Americans willing to look the other way as he proceeds with his mass murdering of Ukrainians.
Sane Europeans are aghast…
