Democrats tend to be kinder than Republicans.
Though I personally know very kind people who are Republicans.
Democrats are more likely to endorse gun control measures or checks to restrict their purchase.
They tend to be more liberal on social issues, i.e. abortion, medical care, education.
Republican VP candidate Vance, on the contrary, has come out advocating for the banning of Planned Parenthood, a wonderful foundation assisting women.
Years ago, I remember a successful real estate person emphatically state that government should stay out of health care. If you can’t pay for it, then too bad. Suck it up, brother. Live with the consequences of not having planned. Go ahead and die, buster.
Democrats are more willing to vote to fund social programs to help people get back on their feet.
The Voting Rights Act that Lyndon Johnson pushed through in 1965 enabling African Americans to vote would not have passed under a Republican administration.
Republicans are more inclined to embrace conspiracy theories, very dark ones too.
I know someone who once told me that president Biden was a pedophile and offered to send me a video clip as proof of it. I declined.
I’m reminded that when Hillary Clinton was campaigning for office in 2016, some people spread word that she was part of a sex ring in the Washington DC area.
And then we have Trump’s appalling coarseness.
