Think I’m exaggerating? Think again.
In his recent debate with Biden — 6/27/24 — he carried on and on about how immigrants crossing the border are coming to steal our jobs and to deplete social security and health care and how democrats are committed to putting them up in luxury hotels and giving them funds that would otherwise go to our war veterans.
Strong stuff.
And then he followed it by saying that he would carry out ‘massive deportations’. Never mind building a taller wall and Mexicans being rapists. That was for the last election. Now we’re into ‘massive deportations’. What does that mean?
You read it whichever way you want to. But this is how I see it.
‘Massive’ means they’re already working on the design for the patch you’re going to be told to wear. A patch with a big ‘I’ on it, ‘I’ for Immigrant. Yes. Just like Nazis in pre WWII Germany did with the star of David they tacked unto Jews.
‘Massive’ means not too much scrutiny. When he sends a patrol out to round up illegal immigrants, if you’re White you pass, but if you’re not and speak with an accent, however slight, we snatch you first and then you get to ask questions or provide proof of your legal status later.
‘Massive’ is a carefully chosen word that the ultraconservatives in this land will focus on to return this country to their ‘rightful owners’ — White folks who’ve been left behind. ‘And why shouldn’t Whiteness be enough to…
